At Studypoints, we want to ensure that we deliver an effective and reliable customer experience - we strive for your child to achieve success and triumph in their studies. If your child needs support or wants to broaden their current knowledge, Studypoints is the place to go. We cover;
We run science classes with a kick start to the curriculum of early secondary schools, endeavouring to tailor our services to expand out of the curriculum as your child/children start to face their GCSEs. We cover all branches of science, ensuring that your child will be at a great start to their time at secondary school.
Although year 9 is not one of the 2 years in which children sit their GCSEs, many schools incorporate the GCSE syllabus in their curriculum, primarily for the main 3 subjects - and so do we, for science. At Studypoints, we aim to make sure your child is well-prepared for their GCSEs, by handing out practice papers in year 9. We cover all subjects in depth, covering the main exam boards - Edexcel, AQA and OCR. We always check our resources, thus making sure they are trustworthy.
As your child enters their final 2 years of school- the sixth form, they will have to sit the A-Levels. At this time, we cover Biology and Chemistry, each subject covering different exam boards’ syllabi. For Biology, we teach exam boards AQA, OCR and Edexcel. For Chemistry, we teach AQA and OCR. Nevertheless, at Studypoints, we shall strongly endeavour to deliver a great tuition experience, combining simplicity and visuals, with depth and detailed information, across all age groups.
As private schools do IGCSE, which has a slightly different syllabus, so we teach most state and grammar schools. Some of the schools we teach include - Wilson’ Grammar School, Sutton Grammar School, Tiffin Boys’ Grammar School, Tiffin Girls’ Grammar School, Nonsuch High, Glenthorne High School, Cheam High School, Wallington County Grammar Boys’ School, and Wallington Girls’ School.
At Studypoints, we have a specific method of teaching - instead of doing one branch at a time, we teach subjects in topics of branches e.g. Topic - Cells, Branch - Biology, then move on to either a Chemistry topic or a Physics topic, with a test at the end of each. These tests will be specifically designed for GCSE and A-Level practice (further details above) as you enter this age. The method we use as we switch from topic to topic is to make sure your child does not forget other branches.
